13,000 Gas Meter Replacements

Description
This project started in 2012 and has delivered the upgrade of 9,000 gas meter installations that are 20 years old. A further 4,700 replacements will be completed by 2027.
The main driver for the upgrade is the replacement of the gas meters. Additional works include the replacement of pipework and fittings deemed to be in poor condition. The upgrade works ensure that the installations are brought into compliance with current Irish gas standards, ATEX standards and the clients design policies.
