Healthcare Facilities Energy Audit
Areas of work: Energy Audits & decarbonisation plans

Description
We conducted a comprehensive energy audit across 6 healthcare facilities, starting with a detailed desktop review of archived energy consumption data (electricity, gas, LPG, heating oil) and load profiles.
On-site surveys evaluated key energy consumers, including HVAC systems, pumps, lighting, and Building Management Systems (BMS), alongside assessments of building fabric to map thermal and electrical usage profiles.
The final report identified major energy users, proposed no-cost optimisations, recommended upgrade measures, and provided cost-benefit analyses outlining potential savings in kWh, CO₂ emissions, and operational costs.
Project Elements:
- Desktop review of energy data
- MRSO load analysis
- Energy benchmarking (CIBSE TM46)
- Building fabric inspections
- Heat load modelling & heating system evaluation
- DHW system review and pipework heat loss analysis
- Energy management through staff interviews
- Assessment of renewable energy integration
