Barberstown CNG

Description

The Bio-CNG refuelling self-service station involved design of the CNG compound and full site forecourt and utilities. Supplied by a 4 barg gas connection from the local distribution grid, the CNG facility compresses natural gas into composite bottled storage, ready for dispensing. The gas can then be safely dispensed to HGV vehicles at 200 barg. The site can refuel up to 50 HGVs per day via dual-sided dispensers. At full capacity the station is projected to reduce users C02 emissions by 9,000 tonnes per annum compared to diesel fuelled HGVs.
