Compressor Station Upgrade

Description
The project upgraded a 45MW natural gas compressor station to maintain the security of supply to the Irish natural gas network. Project deliverables included options analysis assessments, compressor performance modelling, detailed design and construction phasing of the upgrade works. The project scope included splitting compressor station suction & discharge headers, implementing a suction throttling facility and installing temporary bypass pipework to maintain station operability during the works.
