Description
Our team acted as Owners Engineer for a 90 MW Energy Centre supporting a Data Centre with a flex generation connection. The primer mover was 20 No, Jenbacher 4.5 MW gas engines.
The Energy Centre is designed for flex demand for 43 MVA and as a Prime Power source for site demand above the substation capacity.
The team ensured compliance with Irish regulations, conducted monthly site visits, and provided progress reports. Key tasks included baseline gas line design, transient gas system analysis, and ensuring seamless integration with gas and electrical networks. Each engine group is supplied via dedicated pipelines, with gas pressure reduced from 4 bar to 400 mbar for delivery.
