Mine Water Treatment Plant Design

Areas of work: Water

Description

To support the planned restart of mining operations by 2026, a comprehensive Mine Water Treatment Plant design was delivered.

The client needed a complete engineering solution encompassing front-end design and procurement support to ensure the facility could handle up to 1000 m³/hr of mine water discharge while
maintaining emission limit values (ELV) as specified in the environmental license.

The system incorporates pH adjustment through carbon dioxide dosing to achieve compliant discharge parameters. The comprehensive design package includes necessary documentation for EPA licensing, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, and detailed tender specifications, supporting construction and commissioning in line with the operational timeline.
